MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A person of interest in the killing of a Virginia, Minn., man was arrested Sunday evening by BCA agents and police in northern Minnesota.
Authorities apprehended 42-year-old Anthony James Isham without incident at a Duluth residence, Virginia police say. He was being sought in relation to the slaying of 29-year-old Harley Joseph Jacka.
He died last Tuesday as the result of homicidal violence, the St. Louis County Medical Examiner said.
Isham is being held on a warrant for first-degree burglary. Authorities had asked the public’s help finding him last week.
Two other persons of interest in the killing — Bartholamy Jake Drift and John “Ojiy” Edward Isham – are also in custody on unrelated charges, police say.
Virginia is about 60 miles north of Duluth.
