JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) — Two Wisconsin drivers face tentative charges of sixth-offense drunken driving after separate incidents in Janesville and Milwaukee.

Janesville police say a 51-year-old man was arrested Saturday at 1 a.m. after his vehicle hit a parked car. A Janesville Gazette report says no injuries were reported.

About 2½ hours later, a Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle that was speeding and not staying in its lane. The deputy arrested the 56-year-old driver after she performed poorly on field-sobriety tests.

Each driver has five previous convictions for driving while intoxicated.

The charge of sixth-offense operating while intoxicated is a Class H felony. It carries a maximum penalty of three years in prison, three years of extended supervision and a $10,000 fine.
