MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A popular Twin Cities landmark is clean again.
On Sunday, the Spoon and Cherry at the Walker Sculpture Garden was vandalized
“Kony” was spray-painted on the spoon, a reference to Joseph Kony’s rebel war in Uganda.
By Monday, the cleanup work began, and the letters are now just a faint outline.
The Walker says some other works were also vandalized at the sculpture garden.
The museum is using surveillance video to investigate the incidents.
