ST. FRANCIS (WCCO) — A student has been arrested in connection to a bomb threat directed at St. Francis High School Friday afternoon, according to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
A school district representative said the school was in a “modified lockdown” after receiving reports of a student allegedly placing a bomb in the school. The exterior doors and classroom doors were all locked, but students were able to move around in the classrooms.
The lockdown was called off at around 3 p.m. after the arrest. A search is underway, too, but no device has been found.
The student has been taken into custody for terroristic threats.
