MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say two people were shot and one person was critically injured after gunshots rang out at a Minneapolis bar early Thursday morning.
Police responded to Champions Bar on the 100 block of Lake Street at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday on a report of a shooting. Witnesses at the bar said it was full due to being ladies night and karaoke at the bar. Some sort of altercation happened, resulting in gunshots being fired inside the bar.
One victim was shot twice in the stomach and the back and is said to be in critical condition at a hospital. The victim is in stable condition.
Police didn’t release any information about suspects and said the shooting is under investigation.
