MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in Duluth are seeking the public’s help finding a suspect who reportedly abducted a 14-year-old girl Wednesday evening.

The Duluth Police Department says the abduction happened near Lincoln Park at around 5:30 p.m. Witnesses report that a black Ford Expedition with white rims pulled up to the victim and that a man with a black mask and a baton got out and forced the girl into the vehicle. Authorities say three other people were in the vehicle at the time of the abduction, and that the Expedition’s license plate ends with a “03.”

Authorities describe the suspect as a Native American man about 5-feet, 11-inches tall, with black hair in a braid, wearing a long-sleeved black shirt with a Chicago Bulls logo on the back.

The victim is described as a Native American teen with waist-length hair that was up in a bun. She has a stud piercing on her right eye and “perfect white teeth.” She was wearing a green shirt with “Aero” on the front, white leggings, flip-flops and a silver bracelet. Her name is not yet known, authorities said.

If you have any information on the abduction, call 911 or 218-727-8770.
