MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A woman who was gravely injured in a north Minneapolis shooting early Saturday morning has passed away.
Just after 2 a.m., two women were driving at the corner of Washington Avenue North and 26th Avenue North when shots were fired from a car that pulled up next to them. One woman was “gravely injured” and another woman suffered a serious injury, according to police.
Both women were taken to HCMC where the woman who was gravely injured later passed away.
The identities of the deceased victim will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.
There are no suspects at this time.
