MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Burnsville Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a man suspected of cashing stolen checks on several occasions throughout the south metro, police said.
Police said the man has been identified on surveillance at several businesses in the south Twin Cities metro and parts of southern Minnesota cashing stolen checks. They’ve amounted to about $3,000 and have been cashed in up to 15 different cities including Glencoe, Mankato and Pine Island.
Authorities said the checks were cashed between April 11-17.
