MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A suspicious substance that prompted the evacuation of 500 people from a Wells Fargo building in Shoreview Thursday was deemed not dangerous.
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office says the substance turned out to be some sort of food product.
It was initially found inside an envelope Thursday afternoon at the Wells Fargo Operations Center on 1801 Park View Drive.
One person touched it and was sent to the hospital as a precaution.
Investigators are still working to determine who sent the letter, and why.
