MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Metro Transit Police arrested a man in St. Paul Tuesday night for allegedly groping a teenage girl on a bus last week, authorities say.
Abdulkarim Ali Ismail, 33, is in the Ramsey County Jail facing possible criminal sexual conduct charges stemming from an incident that occurred on the morning of Nov. 7.
The victim says Ismail touched her breast over her clothes and made unwanted advances toward her. She also said Ismail followed her and two friends off the bus and only left when an adult threatened to call the police.
Metro Transit authorities say the case will likely be forwarded to the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office for charges.
