MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minneapolis man is charged with running a juvenile sex trafficking operation out of his home, while an Eagan man is charged with giving the operation business.

According to the Hennepin County Attorney’s office, 55-year-old Bernard Elvet Morris, of Minneapolis, arranged for various men to come to his home to have sex with a teenage female victim for money. Police monitored Morris’s phone calls on Oct. 23 and Oct. 25, providing them with evidence of his crimes.

Morris has been charged with three counts: two for felony solicitation, inducement and promotion of prostitution and sex trafficking; and one felony count of prostitution.

Forty-five-year-old Thanh Huu Bui, of Eagan, arranged to come to Morris’s home to engage in sex with the underage victim on Oct. 25, where he was arrested at the scene. Bui is charged with felony solicitation of a minor to engage in prostitution and a felony prostitution charge.
