FARMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) – Fed up with being “ding dong ditched,” a 45-year-old Farmington man allegedly tackled a juvenile into a fence and then punched the boy up to five times, leaving the juvenile with a separated shoulder, police say.
According to the criminal complaint filed in Dakota County, David Brad Dykhuizen has been charged with third-degree assault in connection with the May 5 incident.
The boy said after Dykhuizen finished punching him, the man picked him up by his hair and dragged him into the street, the complaint states.
There, Dykhuizen reportedly told the boy that if he got ding dong ditched again, “he would find him and beat him even worse,” police say.
