2 Teens Arrested For Assault At St. Cloud Group Home

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – Two teenage females were arrested and charged Sunday after they allegedly threatened employees at a group home with a knife and scissors, according to St. Cloud Police.

Authorities responded to the home on the 1100 block of 24th Street Southeast in St. Cloud at about 7:14 p.m. Sunday on a knife complaint. When they arrived, they learned that a 13-year-old girl and 15-year-old girl had threatened employees of the group home with a knife and scissors.

The 15-year-old girl was arrested and charged for damage to property after she allegedly destroyed two television sets and a stereo using a hammer, according to police. Both girls are facing possible charges of second-degree assault, terroristic threats and damage to property.

Police said no staff members of the group home were injured during the incident. Police are still investigating what led up to the incident.
