MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 53-year-old man is in custody after police say he threatened three men with a handgun.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Loren Koenen was arrested around 8:58 p.m. near the 14000 block of Spruce Hill Park Road.
Police say three men, employed by an area crop production company were spraying the fields on the farm when Koenen approached them, displaying a handgun.
Police say Koenen pointed the gun at the men and threatened to pull the trigger. The men were able to take cover until police arrived on scene.
Deputies confronted Koenen, who retreated into his residence. He was arrested without incident. He is currently at the Douglas County Jail awaiting charges.
