MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis police have turned to YouTube to tell their side of the story regarding the Occupy Movement.

After Occupy protesters were arrested during a demonstration on Nicollet Mall last weekend, there were accusations of police brutality.

Chief Tim Dolan said those allegations are under review. But in the meantime, he’s letting the public form its own opinion by posting video on YouTube

“You know you’re just getting kind of attacked and the perceptions are going to be one-way. And we just wanted to make sure that they saw [the public] the whole picture” said the Chief.

While Dolan believes none of the protesters was abused, he does call an officer’s actions slapping a camera out of the hands of a photo-journalist “indefensible.”
