BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) – Police are investigating what appears to be a string of incidents involving objects thrown at motorists in Bloomington.
On Monday evening, a motorist was facially injured on Normandale Boulevard at Mount Normandale Drive after someone threw a vise at his windshield.
The vise broke the windshield and hit the man in the face, police said.
Investigators say they’re not sure whether the vise was thrown by a pedestrian or another passing vehicle.
Police said this is the sixth “similar incident” in the area during the last month.
Police said, “a reward of $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any suspects in this matter is being offered by the Bloomington Crime Prevention Association.” Anyone with more information is asked to contact the department at 952-563-8628.
