FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Two men from Redby have been sentenced in a shooting that left one man dead and two others wounded on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota.

Twenty-three-year-old Donald Leigh Clark Jr. was sentenced Tuesday in federal court to 10 years in prison on one count of discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.

Clark’s co-defendant, Cruze Anthony White, also 23, was sentenced to more than six years in prison on one count of voluntary manslaughter for aiding Clark.

Clark and White pleaded guilty last November.

The two were accusing of killing Julian Keith DeMarrias and assaulting his brother and another man on Nov. 3, 2010, on the reservation.

Clark was arrested two months later when officers found him hiding in a vehicle. White later surrendered to authorities.
