HOPKINS, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Hopkins bank at gunpoint on Monday evening.
It happened at a U.S. Bank located at 16 Ninth Avenue North in downtown Hopkins around 5:50 p.m.
The FBI said a man entered the bank and approached the teller counter with a handgun. The man demanded cash and then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount.
The robber is described a white man between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing between 150-180 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask and a tan jacket.
