MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis Police say they have arrested a man suspected in a number of purse snatchings in the Camden neighborhood committed last month.
On Feb. 19, police released surveillance photos of a man they said grabbed purses from two women in north Minneapolis.
Neither victim was injured in the robberies.
Police said they were searching for a white man, 30 to 40 years old, with a slender build and a scruffy beard.
On Tuesday, Police said that they had apprehended 25-year-old Levi William Jorgensen and were holding him on anticipated felony charges of first-degree aggravated robbery.
Police expressed gratitude for the number of tips they received after releasing the surveillance photos through the media.
