MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two people are in custody Tuesday night after a home was robbed and shots rang out on the city’s north side.
The robbery happened at a home on the 4000 block of Bryant Avenue North, Minneapolis police say.
The suspects fled the home before police got there, but officers did spot a vehicle matching the description given by the 911 caller.
Officers tried to pull the car over near Dowling and Morgan avenues, police say. Two people then got out of the car, and shots were fired.
Police didn’t specify who fired the shots, but they said no one was injured.
Officers recovered a gun and two people were taken into custody for questioning. It was not clear if the people in custody were the ones that ran from the car. Names were not given.
