MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – State officials say there were no DWI-related deaths on Minnesota roads over the Super Bowl weekend.
While data shows authorities did arrest 175 drivers for DWI, there were no deaths where alcohol played a factor, the Department of Public Safety says.
The one weekend fatality on Minnesota roads happened Sunday when an SUV collided with a train in Sabin. Alcohol was not believed to have been a factor in that incident.
