BEMIDJI, Minn. (WCCO) – Three men have been arrested and are believed to be connected to a series of burglaries in Beltrami and Cass Counties.
According to the county sheriff’s office, 29-year-old Joshua James Martin, 25-year-old Jeremy Jay Martin, and 19-year-old Jasmine Lee Bellcourt were taken into custody over the weekend.
Officers responded to the scene of one of the burglaries. Homeowners said they say a Toyota Tundra pickup truck leaving the scene, which matched the description investigators already had on a vehicle used in several other burglaries in Beltrami and Cass Counties.
They were able to track the vehicle to the Martin residence in Walker. There they found a number of items that had been taken, including firearms.
Investigators also found an amount of methamphetamine.
The three suspects are currently in custody.
