MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – If you live in Minneapolis and warm up your car before you leave in the morning, police are warning to be on the lookout for thieves.
Minneapolis Police said Thursday that as many as 17 cars have been stolen in southeast Minneapolis over the past week. Many of them were left unattended and running in the cold.
If you live in Minneapolis and leave your car unattended while it’s running, you could actually face a $34 fine. Car owners can even get a ticket if your car is stolen with your keys in the ignition.
