MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Maple Lake Public Schools have canceled classes after a threat was left in a bathroom stall, according to officials.
At approximately 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, a threat was found on a bathroom wall. In response, the school canceled classes for the rest of the day.
According to the Wright County Sheriff, the threat was in reference to a bomb.
They were notified of the message around 11:10 a.m.
The school, located at 200 State Highway 55 in the city of Maple Lake, houses students K-12.
The nature and credibility of the threat remains under investigation.
