MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Crystal Police are investigating an overnight crash between a squad car and another vehicle full of people.
The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. at 62nd and County Road 81. According to Crystal Police, there were four people inside the car that crashed into the squad car. No identities have been released.
The police officer was taken to a local hospital for observation and was subsequently released
Power was knocked out to a neighborhood to the south of the accident scene.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash and forwarding the case to an attorney’s office for consideration of charges.
