MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Suspicious envelopes that shutdown a Minnesota courthouse had something in them that could have made people sick.
Someone sent six letters containing a mysterious powder to the Pine County Courthouse earlier this week. The Health Department says the envelopes had bacteria in them that is common in soil or plants.
One type of it has been known to contaminate food and make people sick.
But investigators say symptoms would have shown up by now, and no one has gotten ill.
