MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 42-year-old St. Francis man is accused to breaking into a home in Andover and stealing a number of items, including women’s underwear, according to authorities.
Randy William Bina has been charged with second-degree burglary for the Sept. 8 incident.
According to a criminal complaint, officers were dispatched to a home around 6:15 p.m. Sunday, which is also Bina’s birthday, on Tamarack Street Northwest in Andover. The homeowners of the residence told police they had been away all day and when they returned home around 6 p.m., they noticed the front door was open and the screen door had been damaged.
Once inside the home, they noticed a few bottles of alcohol were out of place and several items were missing, including women’s underwear.
Neighbors told police they saw a man at the house earlier in the day who was driving an older, black pickup truck.
The officers asked the homeowners if they knew anyone with that kind of vehicle and they immediately suspected Bina, who they said they’ve known for a long time.
Officers eventually found Bina’s vehicle in a parking lot on Jackson Street between Courtside and Serum’s.
The vehicle had several women’s undergarments on the front passenger seat and floor, in plain view, according to the officers. They also noticed other missing items in the truck that were stolen from the home.
Bina was located at River City Saloon and arrested.
