MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A person of interest is being held by police in the west metro Wednesday after a missing man’s body was found in a Shorewood home.
Officers found the body while executing a search warrant at 5700 Wood Duck Circle, the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department said.
Authorities said the death is “suspicious in nature.”
The deceased has not been named.
A press release said a person of interest is being held pending further investigation.
When speaking to reporters Wednesday evening, Chief Bryan Litsey said the community is not believed to be at risk.
Neighbors said that investigators had been in the area for a few days, asking questions.
