BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (WCCO) — A Wisconsin sheriff said a man who made his career catching bad guys is now one himself.
The Barron County Sheriff’s office said Waupun officer Brad Young broke into a Green Lake restaurant yesterday, and drove off in a stolen car.
Deputies lost him after he ran into a cornfield near Rice Lake.
Two hours later, a pickup truck was reported stolen in that area.
The sheriff’s office said they’re not sure if Young has a gun or another weapon on him.
The public is asked to call 911 if you see young.
