MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Roseville Police Department says it’s looking to interview people who may have been sexually assaulted by a massage therapist accused of criminal sexual conduct.

Thirty-year-old Brandon Lee Palmer, the owner of Serene Body Therapy on 2780 Snelling Avenue, faces charges of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth and first degrees, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday.

The police department says that in February a woman reported that Palmer had touched her inappropriately while she was getting a massage. She told police that Palmer forced her hand to touch his groin through his clothes while he touched her groin through her underwear.

When he left the massage room after the incident, the woman gathered her belongings and tried to flee. Palmer stopped her, offering her water and a hug. The woman fled the business and hid a bathroom, trying to calm herself.

Palmer is a licensed massage therapist, and he is currently licensed by the city of Roseville to work a massage therapy business. The licensing authority is reviewing the criminal complaint and will decide soon whether or not to suspend or revoke Palmer’s licenses.

If convicted of both charges, Palmer could face a maximum penalty of 11 years in prison and/or a $23,000 fine.

If you have any information about the assault, or if you were assaulted, call police at 651-792-7008.
