MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 26-year-old Plymouth man has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of a man in Minneapolis.
After seven days of testimony, it took a jury less than three hours to return guilty verdict for William Lane.
Lane, who is the suspected leader of the Emerson Murder Boys gang, shot Christopher Dozier on Aug. 31, 2009 in an alley behind 1411 Plymouth Ave. N. in Minneapolis.
Now, Hennepin County Attorney’s Office will be seeking a sentence of more than 34 years in prison for Lane. His sentencing is set for Feb. 14, 2012.
