MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 25-year-old Red Lake woman was arrested Sunday after being charged murder in Minneapolis Federal Court in the death of Bryan James Lussier.
Alison Ann Brown has been charged with one count of murder in connection with the case and is currently in police custody.
According to court records, police were called to Lussier’s Red Lake residence on a report that he was stabbed. When authorities arrived, they found Lussier, 51, lying on the floor with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Red Lake Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses told police at the scene that Brown and Lussier had gotten into an argument and that Brown stabbed Lussier with a kitchen knife. Once the two had been separated, Brown fled the scene. If convicted, Brown faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.
