MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Authorities have released the name of man who was struck and killed by at least one vehicle as he tried to cross a dark highway in a wheelchair.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office says 37-year-old Manuel Steeber died Thursday night of blunt force injuries. His death has been ruled an accident.
Authorities list his address as that of Douglas Place, Inc., a drug and alcohol dependency treatment center in East Grand Forks.
Police are still investigating the accident.
