MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – St. Paul police are working on leads in a shooting in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood that left a man dead Thursday night.
Police responded to a fight Thursday near the intersection of Payne and Case avenues, when someone started shooting.
An 18-year-old was hit, and later died at Regions Hospital. His name has not been released.
Police had responded to a large fight earlier in the night; they’re not sure yet if the two are related.
So far, no arrests have been made, and no suspect description has been given.
