HASTINGS, Minn. (WCCO) – Investigators say a 36-year-old man charged with driving while intoxicated over the weekend had a role in a fatal criminal vehicular operation case in the 1990s.
According to a criminal complaint, Mark Allen Fedderly was stopped in Rosemount after an officer observed his car weaving back and forth and stopping in the middle of the road.
The officer who pulled him over said Fedderly was having difficulty concentrating. He admitted to the officer that he had eight 16-ounce beers earlier in the evening.
Fedderly failed a preliminary breath test, the charges state.
He has been charged with first-degree driving while impaired.
According to the complaint, Fedderly has on his criminal history an adjudication for a fatal criminal vehicular operation case which reached settlement in August 1993.
