5 Arrested In Elk River Meth Bust

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Five people are in jail after a meth bust in Elk River Monday, according to the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Joel Brott said investigators from the Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force developed information concerning the possible sale of methamphetamine in Elk River.

After obtaining a search warrant, authorities executed the warrant and found the suspected meth and drug paraphernalia at the residence, located on the 19000 block on Pascal Street Northwest.

Investigators then arrested Pacer Larson, 37 of Elk River, Savannah Stangel, 26, of Elk River, Randy Johnson, 51, of Columbia Heights, Andrew Newell, 29, of Chisago City and Valyncia Manheimer, 27, of Saint Augusta.

Larson, Stangel and Johnson were arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. Newell and Manheimer were arrested for outstanding warrants.

They were all booked into the Sherburne County Jail where they remain pending arraignment.
