MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Police are determined to find the person responsible for the death of toddler Terrell Mayes, so much that they’ve offered a big reward to find his killer.
Police are announcing Tuesday that they’re offering a $60,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Mayes’ killer. Mayes was gunned down inside a north Minneapolis home on the 2600 block of Colfax Avenue North on Dec. 26, 2011, after at least one gun shot came through the wall of the residence and hit him in the head.
Mayes was 3 years old when he died from his injuries. Crime Stoppers is offering $10,000 to catch his killer, and Spotlight on Crime is offering $50,000.
