MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police say a disagreement between two people led to a man being shot to death Friday afternoon in a North Minneapolis home in front of five young children.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired just before 4 p.m. in a home on the 2900 block of Girard Avenue North. When they entered the home, they found one man dead inside.
The victim knew his shooter, police said. The two had had a disagreement on Thursday, and on Friday the suspect entered the home and shot the victim in front of five kids.
The suspect was not immediately taken into custody, but officers made an arrest later Friday evening. The circumstances of the arrest are not known.
The suspect was not named, nor was the man who was killed.
The incident is under investigation.
Note: This shooting is not related to the incident that left two officers injured and a suspect dead in south Minneapolis.
