ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times at a St. Paul gas station overnight.
According to St. Paul public information officer Howie Padilla, the shooting happened at the BP gas station at Lexington and Central avenues around 1:30 a.m.
Officers said a man outside the gas station was shot multiple times in the lower extremities. The man limped out of the gas station and got into a vehicle.
He was then driven to Regions Hospital. The man is expected to survive his injuries.
Police are still investigating but do not believe this was a random shooting.
