BURNSVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) – A 56-year-old Burnsville, Minn. man is accused of assaulting his 90-year-old mother and throwing her dog on the ground after she wouldn’t sign over her house to him.
According to the criminal complaint filed in Dakota County, officers responded to the residence on Oakland Drive on April 11 at about 2 p.m. after receiving a text message from another resident.
When they arrived, they were told that Gregory Alan Wucherpfennig was pushing his mother around and saying that he wanted to kill her. The victim told police that he was angry because she refused to sign over her house, which the complaint says is worth well over $150,000.
Wucherpfennig said he is currently living at the house with his mother.
She told officers that Wucherpfennig had slapped her, pulled her hair and assaulted her in the past.
The woman reported that her son had also thrown her dog to the ground and caused the animal to sustain an injury to its back leg the previous day.
Wucherpfennig’s brother has power of attorney, according to the complaint. Wucherpfennig has two prior convictions of domestic violence within the last 10 years. In 2003, he was convicted of making terroristic threats, and in 2007, he was convicted of stalking.
