MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A police officer suffered an injury responding to a fight at Eden Prairie High School Wednesday morning.
At around 9:45 a.m., police responded to the fight at the high school, located at 17185 Valley View Road.
In the process of breaking up the fight, a liaison officer suffered the ankle injury and was taken by ambulance for medical attention, police said.
Now, Eden Prairie Police are working closely with the school district to investigate the incident.
According to an Eden Prairie school representative, the fight involved six female students. The fight was broken up and no students were transported as a result of injuries.
The representative added that the school will follow disciplinary guidelines and act accordingly.
