MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Search crews found more clues that could close help the case of a missing St. Paul woman believed dead.
Kira Trevino has been missing for a month. Police think Trevino’s husband murdered her inside their St. Paul home.
On Sunday, investigators took several items from Keller Lake Park in Maplewood back to their lab.
We asked what they found, but investigators told us they couldn’t comment.
On Friday, volunteers found a bag of bloody clothing and other items at the park.
Jeffery Trevino is currently being held in jail. He faces two counts of second degree murder. If convicted, each count carries a minimum sentence of 40 years in prison.
