MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 34-year-old Minneapolis woman was sentenced to 11 years in prison in federal court Monday in connection with a case involving the sex trafficking of a minor.
Kimberly Susan Latham was indicted in the case on Jan. 19, 2012, and pleaded guilty on May 4, 2012, to one count of sex trafficking of a minor. Latham admitted in November of 2011, she met 17 and 18-year-old girls, invited them back to her apartment and asked the 17-year-old to perform commercial sex acts.
Latham also admitted to using the Internet and cell phones to advertise the girl’s services at her Minnetonka apartment.
