ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – A 44-year-old St. Cloud man assaulted and threatened to shoot a woman with a crossbow, and after a search warrant of his home, he was arrested for both assault and possession of narcotics, police say.
According to the St. Cloud Police Department, Thomas James Mitchell has been charged with second-degree assault, and terroristic threats, in addition to second-degree and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.
At 1:55 p.m. on Feb. 12 on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue North, police responded to a verbal dispute report.
Police allege that Mitchell physically assaulted a 39-year-old female victim. And after a search warrant was executed to locate more evidence, narcotics, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia were found inside his residence.
