MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (WCCO) – Members of the Maple Grove High School hockey team who police say were involved in an alleged incident at a private home have been suspended for a number of games.
A spokesperson for Independent School District 279 said that the players were subject to an investigation in cooperation with the Minnesota State High School League and the Maple Grove Police Department.
It was determined that the players’ actions, which were not described in the statement nor by police, were in violation of the MSHSL’s code of conduct.
“Due to data privacy laws, we cannot provide details of the incident, who was involved, or the specific consequences,” the school district representative said.
