MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Accent Signage Systems, Inc., which experienced one of the worst workplace shootings in Minnesota history, has issued a statement for the community of Newtown, Conn.
In late September, a disgruntled employee, Andrew Engeldinger, killed five Accent Signage employees and a UPS driver before he turned the gun on himself.
On Monday, they issued this statement in regards to the Newtown school shooting, which resulted in 27 killed, including 20 children:
Our thoughts and prayers are with the community of Newtown, Connecticut.
We were horrified to hear about yet another senseless act of violence that robbed families of their loved ones.
We mourn the loss of the twenty young students, along with the seven adults who devoted themselves to enriching children’s lives, even with their last heroic actions.
We stand in solidarity with all those who have lost loved ones in these unspeakable tragedies.
