HASTINGS, Minn. (WCCO) — Authorities are searching for a man accused of robbing a Hastings bank with a handgun.
The Minneapolis FBI said the robbery occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at First National Bank, 1400 Frontage Road North in Hastings.
A man with a black handgun verbally threatened bank tellers and fled the scene after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber’s face and hands were fully covered but he was wearing a black and red coat, winter-style hat with ear flaps, old blue jeans and black shoes.
He was described as between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall. His age and race was unknown.
