WATERTOWN, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities are looking for at least two suspects after a bar in a small town west of the Twin Cities was burglarized early Monday morning.
The Carver County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an alarm at the Luce Line Bar in Watertown at about 4:19 a.m. Monday. When authorities arrived, at least two men were observed on surveillance video breaking into the bar. The suspect vehicle was also observed at the front door of the bar by a surveillance camera before the alarm was activated.
Police said the suspects used a ladder to access the roof and cut a cable. They were also able to pry a side door to the bar open and took an ATM machine.
Authorities say the suspects appear to both be men. One is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build, and the other appears taller and stockier. Police said the same suspects appeared on video surveillance at the Mobile Mart in Mayer, where they cut wires at the business. The vehicle appears to be a green Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The Carver County Sheriff’s Office also responded to burglaries at two businesses in Norwood-Young America, where the back doors were pried open and the suspects removed a safe.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to call the Carver County Sheriff’s Office at (952) 361-1231.
