MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Two men suffered gunshot wounds after an attempted robbery in Minneapolis.
Police say officers responded to the intersection of 40th and Bryant Avenue North on the report of a robbery at gunpoint around 10:20 p.m. Saturday. On their way to the area, they heard gunshots near 38th and Bryant Avenue North.
Upon arrival, they found two men with gunshot wounds. Police say the men were in a garage and were approached by two suspects, who attempted to rob them.
One man was shot in the foot and the other victim suffered a minor gunshot wound to the face. Both appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Both victims were taken to North Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The two suspects fled and were not located by police.
Police are investigating the incident.
