MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two people suffered injuries and a man was arrested Wednesday night after a vehicle ran a stop sign, collided with another vehicle and drove off, Bloomington Police said.
The hit and run happened at 7 p.m. at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 92nd Street. Officers who responded to the scene said they followed a fluid trail to the home of the man who ran the stop sign. Police said he lived near the intersection where the collision took place.
Police are not sure if the driver — who has not been identified — was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but blood tests are being done.
Emergency crews took the two injured to Fairview Hospital. Both suffered minor injuries, police said. They have not been identified.
